Brad Belcher — Dedicated to His Marion, Ohio Community
At Buckeye Family, Marion, Ohio-based Brad Belcher and his team provide high-quality residential treatment for adults working to overcome substance abuse and severe mental health conditions. The four Buckeye Family centers offer trained nursing care from staff equipped to offer compassionate, effective advocacy and support that meets or exceeds all state and federal regulations. Brad Belcher is additionally the managing member of Buckeye Real Estate and owner of Northern American Fire Protection, both of which work with commercial clients to ensure compliance in all aspects of building safety.
A Marion community member from his youth, Mr. Belcher faced his own struggles with substance abuse. He turned his life around by working through his own addiction, later offering his insights to acclaimed journalist Sam Quinones for the 2019 book Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic. In 2021 Mr. Belcher and his wife, an experienced nurse, further turned their advocacy into action by opening Day One Integrative Services, a Marion-based Outpatient Treatment Center dedicated to the needs of people working toward recovery.
Brad Belcher is a member of a nonprofit group that offers oversight for residential recovery centers. He has become a sought-after speaker and researcher into topics concerning the addiction crisis, and he has received honors from the Boys and Girls Club for his service as a mentor.
